How long does drying really take?
Spin Master says at least 24 hours in open air. Owners report one to two full days before the damp feeling goes, longer in humid rooms. The full change to the final crunchy texture lands around day 5 to 7.
Is it supposed to go crunchy?
Yes. The squishy stage is temporary and the light, crunchy bean-bag texture is the designed end state. It is permanent, and re-soaking does not bring the day-one squish back.
Can the toy go back in the jar?
Physically it can be stuffed in; it should not be. The jar is for the reveal only, and a damp toy sealed in a jar stays damp. Storage and display are open-air jobs.
Which characters are in Series 1?
Twenty food-animal styles including two rares. Spin Master has not published an official name list, so any named list found online is a guess. This site maps the themes instead and leaves naming to the household.
What are the odds of a rare?
Unpublished. Two of the twenty styles are rare, jars are identical outside, and no official pull rates exist. Every jar carries the same unknown chance.
What age is this for?
The packaging says ages 5 and up with adult supervision. The water step is the main reason for both numbers.
